Summer Activities

The summer weather is what most people live for in Lake Tahoe. A moderate climate leads to very comfortable conditions both day and night. There are no air conditioners up here. Because we don't need them! Average day time temperatures are about 75 - 80 degress and cools down in the evening to about 65 - 70 degrees. Sleep with the windows open. The cool dry air is perfect for sleeping and a bonus there are very few bugs in Lake Tahoe!!

Winter Activities

The weather in Lake Tahoe is mild all year around. In fact we are just 30 miles away from Blue Canyon which was designated as the most annual snowfall location in the continental United States! But that doesn't mean you will freeze up here. The normal temperature in the Winters months is about 35 degrees. It is a very rare day that the thermometer dips below 15 degrees. And the elevation keeps the snow in good shape from Dec through April.
